Dr Omoniyi Blessing Fagbemi graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos with the MB.BS degree in 1985.

He had his housemanship in the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna which was completed in 1986 and National Youth Service in State Hospital Oshogbo completed in 1987.

He worked and trained in a Mission Hospital (NKST Hospital, Mkar, Benue State) where he was in the Fellowship Program in General Practice of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria up to year 1990 when he completed the Part 1 training program.

He had a Post Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (PGDFM) of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria awarded in year 2015. He also has a certificate in Health Management Program (HMP) of the Enterprises Development Centre of the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos in year 2020.

He has a wealth of vast experiences in private and public health institutions prior to establishment of Longing Medical Centre in 1995. He had attended many courses  and trainings in different aspects of medicare e.g. family planning, electrocardiography, Ultrasonography etc.

He is a member of the Guild of Medical Directors of Nigeria (GMD); Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) of which he is a Fellow (FAGP) and Healthcare Providers Association of Nigeria. He is a multiple award winner of various organizations and communities. 

He has great passion for quality, best practice and ethics as well as humaneness in healthcare.
